Gayle Saxton named Director of Labor Relations

Vice President for Human Resources Dwaine Duckett has announced the appointment of Gayle Saxton, senior university negotiator, as director of labor relations.
Saxton was selected from a field of more than 20 internal and external labor experts based on her extensive knowledge of UC’s labor system and her practical approach to negotiations, Duckett said.
“Gayle has a uniquely strong background for this important position,” Duckett said. “Not only is she sensitive to campus and medical center considerations, but she is an enthusiastic leader with more than 29 years of experience with UC labor issues.”
