Title: Web Developer
Department/Unit: Communications
Location: 1111 Franklin Street
When I started working at UCOP: May 2010
What I do for OP in five words or less: Make stuff! Digitally of course.
The best part about working for OP: You mean other than my co-workers and the chance to help shape the future of a world-class university? The chair I inherited. It is truly a treat for the senses.
Something you don’t know about me: I started DJing in the 8th grade and I’m a huge scratch nerd.
One weird fact about the town I grew up in: Hillsboro, Oregon is the current home of WWF superstar and Hulk Hogan arch-nemesis Rowdy Roddy Piper, despised the world over for having kicked Cyndi Lauper in the head in 1985.
If I could have any job in the world (besides the one I have now), I would be: I’m split on this. Part of me would like to be an architect/urban planner/civil engineer. The other part would prefer to own and operate a vanilla farm in Hawaii.

Congratulations to Debbie Shen for leading the first phase of the Office of Research and Graduate Studies (ORGS) website redesign, which launched Tuesday, June 29!
She worked with a great project team – Andrew Boulter, Deshawn Boyd, Lyn Dunagan, Jeff Hall, Susan Rumsey, Chuck Rzeszutko, Lobsang Wangdu and William Tucker – who were instrumental in shaping the project and coordinating input and feedback from the various units.
And, of course, they couldn’t have done it without Carla, Judy and Raul in IR&C: Thanks for your hard work and (inexhaustible) patience.
