What I do for OP in five words or less: I herd cats (with love)!

The best part about working for OP: I am very fortunate to work for and with some wonderful people. The work of California GEAR UP to help middle schools create a college-going culture is important work and it is work that speaks to my personal values. It is easy to come to work!

The Thursday Knitting Group is a nice thing, too.

Something you don’t know about me: I recently enrolled in the Master’s program in Holy Names University’s writing program. I love it!

One weird fact about the town I grew up in: I grew up in a Franco-American town in Maine. The vast majority of my friends’ families were French Canadian. Most of my friends were unable to speak with their mémé or pépé (grandparents), who also lived in town, because of the language difference.

If I could have any job in the world (besides the one I have now), I would be: Someone who could do a lot more to solve some of our big societal problems. I’m not certain what my title would be just yet, but I’m thinking …
