Beginning Thursday, Dec. 22, UCOP will use Outlook to reserve conference rooms and schedule meetings. iSchedule, our former room reservation system, will no longer be used as of 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, and will be available in read-only mode for one month as a reference.
President Yudof named a 15-member advisory committee to conduct a national search for the next provost, the university's highest-ranking academic officer, to succeed Larry Pitts, who will step down from his post as provost and EVP of academic affairs in spring 2012.
UCOP offices will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 24, through Monday, Jan. 2, for the winter and New Year holidays. Also note that Link newsletter will be on vacation Tuesday, Jan. 3. Happy Holidays!
The final free Zumba class being offered by WorkFit to close the fall session will be held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 4:45 pm in Lobby One Conference Room. WorkFit's 2012 schedule will be announced early next year.
