Crafts Fair in Franklin Lobby Dec. 8, from 10 am to 2:30 pm
Why bother hitting the malls when you can do your holiday shopping right here at the office?
UCOP’s annual Holiday Crafts Fair — which comes to the Franklin Building Lobby on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — is a convenient way to shop for jewelry, scarves and other great handcrafted gifts.
Carolyn Mini will be back with her stained-glass ornaments and sun-catchers. Carol Lee will be there, selling her beaded earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
You will also find scarves by Evelyn Wright, jewelry by Julie Drouyor and skin care products by Athelynne Robinson. UC Davis Olive Oil Center will be back this year with its President’s Blend Olive Oil as well as their new line of olive oil–based skin care products.
Outside vendors Cindy Louie and Lisa Porter will also be selling jewelry. And newcomer Tracy FitzGerald will sell spiral bound journals that her husband makes from old books and dust covers. (See more about Tracy’s journals in this week’s 10-Second Bio.)
These items and more will be available for as little as $3 and as much as $150. Be sure to bring cash or checks as vendors are not able to accept credit cards.
Come and enjoy the handiwork of your UCOP colleagues!
