Find a wealth of research materials from UC libraries

Are you interested in learning more about the Transcontinental Railroad, early American advertising or the demographics of Hispanic Californians?

An impressive array of library services and research resources is available from UCOP, brought to you by the California Digital Library (CDL) and the UC campus libraries. Learn more on CDL’s website, Library Services/Research Resources Available to UCOP Staff.

You can access these resources from your desktop, from offsite via a UCOP virtual private network (VPN) or, for even more resources, via a UC Berkeley proxy server account. In addition to print books and journals, UCOP staff can access electronic full text resources such as digitized books and ejournals. You can find tools to locate, publish and manage digital resources.

Are you curious about California’s past? Find primary source materials such as photographs, political cartoons, works of art, diaries, transcribed oral histories and other cultural artifacts in Calisphere and the Online Archive of California.
