Connexxus: Improved travel portal launches Friday, Aug. 9
Attention UCOP travelers: A new Connexxus travel portal will launch this Friday, Aug. 9. The new portal is simpler and has a more intuitive interface that will make the process of booking travel easier.
The website’s new design is based on the results of a survey of faculty and other current Connexxus users. It’s meant to improve usability and facilitate communication with UC travelers and those who arrange travel for others. The new site was extensively tested and incorporates feedback from representative UC staff, faculty and managers.
To access the new portal, use your current bookmark (http://connexxus.ucop.edu/campuslinks.html), or beginning Aug. 9, you can also go to http://www.travel.ucop.edu. Continue to use your AD logon to access Connexxus. All travel arrangements should be made through the new portal.
There will be two information sessions on Friday, Aug. 16, to showcase the new portal, provide demonstrations and answer questions. The sessions are scheduled as follows:
- 9:30 to 11 a.m., 712 Kaiser
- 12:30 to 2 p.m., 10325 Franklin
