Conflict management: Learn how to assess and manage conflict situations

Conflict is a natural occurrence in the workplace that, when managed effectively, can spur innovation and productive change. When not managed effectively, it can undermine work relationships and the ability of an organization to meet its goals. Learn strategies for understanding your conflict-handling style, assessing conflict situations and using conflict-handling modes in different situations.

HOW TO REGISTER:

To register, go to the UC Learning Center:

  • Log in using your UCOP login and password.
  • Using the Search box on the left, type in the name of the class you want; that will bring up Results of Search.
  • Click the session you want, then click on the Register box and Submit.

If you enroll in a class and are unable to attend, please be sure to cancel your registration so that your slot can be made available to others interested in the class. Cancel through the UC Learning Center 48 hours before the scheduled class time, or contact Learning & Development Manager Linda Klink at Linda.Klink@ucop.edu or 987-0673.
