Take advantage of 10 percent discount at UC Berkeley Extension

UCOP employees are now eligible for a 10 percent discount, the same discount available to UC Berkeley staff, on classroom and online courses at UC Berkeley Extension, the campus’s continuing education branch.
Spring 2014 enrollment is now open in more than 600 courses offered at locations in Berkeley, San Francisco, Belmont and online. To be eligible for the discount, UCOP staff must have at least 12 months of university service and an appointment of 50 percent or more.
Here’s how to get your discount:
- The discount must be requested at the time of enrollment.
- Enrollment must be done in person at the UC Berkeley Extension Golden Bear Center, 1995 University Ave. in Berkeley, or by mail.
- When you enroll, bring your employment verification statement from At Your Service; log in and find Employment Verification under Income and Taxes in the top right of the main menu.
The 10 percent discount is up to a maximum of $50 per course and applies only to course enrollment fees (not to books, supplies or other fees). The discount is non-transferrable and cannot be applied retroactively or combined with any other discount. It does not apply to concurrent enrollment courses, the Oxford/Berkeley program or some other courses.
UC Berkeley Extension offers more than 2,000 courses per year in a wide range of subject areas including art and design, business, education, humanities and sciences. Their programs include 75 professional certificates and specialized programs of study.
