This Wednesday, Jan. 21: Efficiency Review brown bag and status update

As the UCOP Efficiency Review moves into its second year, you’re invited to participate by submitting your ideas to the Efficiency Review website and attending a brown bag, this Wednesday, Jan. 21, 12 to 1 p.m. in Franklin Lobby 1. (Click link to add event to your calendar.)

Of the hundreds of ideas that were submitted last year, many have already been successfully implemented and are showing meaningful results in reducing costs, boosting transparency, streamlining workflows, and improving quality of service for both OP and the campuses.

The new 10-person working group, now under the direction of co-leads Shirley Bittlingmeier and Dan Scannell, wants to keep that momentum going. Also on hand at the brown bag will be 2014 Efficiency Review Lead Cathy O’Sullivan to report on the status of existing suggestions and answer any questions you might have about the initiative.

Working group members will staff tables at the upcoming February breakfasts at Franklin (Friday, Feb. 6) and Kaiser (Friday, Feb. 13) to answer questions and take new suggestions.
