Emma Sebastian, senior business systems analyst with ITS, sent Link this shout-out about the Payroll Personnel System (PPS) team that implemented the UC Berkeley biweekly conversion.

The Biweekly Conversion for UC Berkeley was completed last Nov. 1, 2014, helping Berkeley save significant payroll manpower hours to process over 9,000 hourly employees. This also marks the last of the major campuses to do this crucial preparatory step for UCPath.

This is quite impressive, especially that this was implemented concurrently with another big UCB project, the CALTIME implementation. UCB stakeholders were complimentary of how the PPS team “has been extremely supportive and helpful” in this effort, tirelessly collaborating and exhaustively testing.

Knowing the talent and diligence of my colleagues: Grace Ebeyer, Faye Isaacson, Michael MacDonald, Caroline Rider, Leigh Wann, and Barbara Vanden Borre, it came as no surprise.

PPS Senior Manager Larry Delaney and Manager Christopher Scott agree that the team deserves the appreciation and congratulations, not just of ITS but the whole UC community as well.
