The brown bag, sponsored by the OP Staff Association, takes place Tuesday, May 12, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in 5320 Franklin.
David Hollander and Bonnie Landles-Dowling will discuss the benefits of living trusts and powers of attorney, including probate avoidance, conservatorship avoidance, cost effectiveness, and privacy and control. In addition, they’ll talk about how you can use your trust documents to help cover the costs of long-term care by qualifying for and accessing government benefits, primarily Veterans Administration and Medi-Cal.
