UCOP’s WorkFit program resumes with summer classes

The Summer 2015 WorkFit session is under way with a free trial week. You don’t need to register during the trial period, just show up and find out what your colleagues are buzzing about! WorkFit instructors can accommodate any skill level. It’s like having a personal trainer! 

Circuit Training focuses on building strength, flexibility and endurance through a series of exercises using items such as weights and stability balls.

Crazy About Core will help strengthen the body’s center through a combination of mat work, resistance exercise, Pilates, yoga and more.

Stretch and Release is all about stretching techniques (including yoga), trigger-point muscle release and self-massage — all focused on relieving pain and increasing mobility.

Yoga cultivates strength, balance and flexibility through a series of fluid movements.

Zumba is a cardio dance workout to the beat of Latin music.

Members will be issued new membership ID cards for the summer session. The card entitles you to unlimited classes at both the Franklin and the Kaiser locations. There are three membership options:

  • Full Session (5/11/2015 – 8/21/2015): $50
  • Half-Session I (5/11/2015 – 6/26/2015): $30
  • Half-Session II (6/29/2015 – 8/21/2015): $30

Family and friends (over age 18) are welcome to join for the same low price!
