Come to a special presentation of UC’s innovative new climate change video series

Lauren Singer was able to fit all of the trash she produced in four years into this jar. Find out how she did it in the new Climate Lab video series produced by UC and Vox Media.

For the past year, UCOP has been working with Vox Media to create a video series that will bring a fresh perspective to the public conversation about climate change. The six-episode series, Climate Lab, will be released on a weekly basis beginning April 19. It will be accompanied by supporting content such as infographics, articles and quizzes in order to provoke thoughtful discussion.

UCOP staff is invited to a special screening of the first episode, “Why humans are so bad at thinking about climate change,” hosted by the UCOP Marketing and Communications team which produced the series. They’ll discuss what it was like to work with scientists, thought leaders, and activists to create a series that spans topics from clean energy to smartphones to religion.

The special screening and presentation will be held:

Date: Monday, April 24
Time: 12 to 12:30 p.m.
Location: Franklin 11326
