It’s here! The Office of the General Counsel (OGC)’s annual Thanksgiving Charity Bake Sale and Silent Auction takes place today:

Date: Tuesday, Nov. 21
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Silent auction

Make sure you stop by to check out the silent auction. You’ll have the chance to bid on lunch dates with various UCOP leaders — President Napolitano, or Associate Vice President and Chief Risk Officer Cheryl Lloyd, or Senior Counsel Steve Drown and Chief of Staff and Senior Counsel Kelly Drumm.

Other items up for auction include a $50 gift card from Shiba Ramen, a Marshawn Lynch favorite Hype Beast T-shirt, and much more!

How your contributions help our local community

Proceeds from this year’s events will be divided between two local charities:

  • Alameda County Community Food Bank: The food bank provides access to healthy food to members of our community, while partnering with local, state, and federal organizations to advocate for those in need.
  • First Place for Youth: A Northern California organization founded in 1998, First Place for Youth provides affordable housing and other support to former foster youth and is a national model for programs supporting high-risk youth.
