The UCPath online portal has a new look

The next time you access the UCPath online portal, you’ll notice a few changes that will make it easier for you to view and manage your benefits, including:

  • Personalized information at a glance: The dashboard on the homepage displays the information you need most, such as your leave balances and the date of your next paycheck.
  • Prominent quick links to information about your benefits, retirement, income and taxes. For example, you can check your benefits for 2017 or 2018 by clicking “View Benefits” – just set the date at the top of the page to the time period you want to view.
  • Responsive design, making the new portal mobile-friendly on any device.

More enhancements will arrive on Jan. 2, when ASUCLA, UC Merced and UC Riverside officially transition to UCPath. Beginning on that date, if you have questions about how to navigate the new site – or about your benefits, paycheck, taxes or other employee issues – you’ll be able to find answers easily by using the expanded search and help functions.

The best way to get a feel for the enhanced UCPath portal is to sign in at https://ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu and take a look. You can also watch this video for a preview of the changes to come.

Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks, including a schedule of webinars that will help you make the most of the enhanced portal.

Great info! A quick thought, would it make sense to include the url for people to easily access Portal from their mobile devices? A refresher to with the url is helpful for us to try out the new responsive design 🙂

Hi Gerry, sorry about that. I’ve updated the article above to include the URL — it’s the same for mobile access as for desktop. Thanks for calling it to our attention!

Heads up: the Service Dates for many employees are incorrect. This is apparently a known issue according to the email I received from UCPath.

As was explained in an email sent to all UCOP staff on Nov. 28, due to the portal upgrade, some information is temporarily not displaying correctly. This issue is being worked on and should be resolved shortly. Thank you for your patience during this transition.
