Celebrating Black History Month with The Hidden Genius Project

In celebration of Black History Month, come to a special brown bag sponsored by the Black Staff and Faculty Organization (BSFO). The guest speaker will be Brandon Nicholson, Ph.D., founder and executive director of the Hidden Genius Project.

Date: Thursday, Feb. 1
Time: 12 to 1 p.m.
Location: Franklin Lobby 1

Nicholson will discuss the work he and his colleagues are doing to support K-12 African-American males through mentoring, problem-solving and other leadership development programs. Their goal is to prepare them to become high-performing entrepreneurs and technologists in a 21st century global economy.

Nicholson received his Ph.D. in Educational Policy from UC Berkeley in 2010.
