Celebrate UC’s 150th on March 23

It’s not every day that you turn 150 years old! UC will mark that milestone on March 23, which was the university’s original Charter Day in 1868.

All UCOP staff is invited to enjoy a special celebration of the university – and of our individual contributions to its many accomplishments. Mark your calendars to save the date:

Date: Friday, March 23
Time: 2 to 4 p.m.
Location: Franklin Lobby and Lobby 1

The celebration will include remarks from President Napolitano, refreshments, music and a raffle.

If you cannot attend in person, you can watch a portion of the event online beginning at approximately 2:15 p.m. (Pacific) by going to and entering your name and UCOP email address.

The UCPath Center will also hold a 150th celebration onsite that day, which will include refreshments and a raffle.

Jump into the festivities by taking the 150th anniversary quiz for a chance to win a prize! The deadline for entry is Friday, March 16, 2018 at 5 p.m.
