Monday brown bag: What It’s Like to be Undocumented in this Era

Join Liliana Iglesias, an academic counselor and coordinator at UC Berkeley’s Undocumented Student Program, to hear about her personal experience working with undocumented students. She will also discuss how the UC Berkeley program has shifted since September 2017, when President Trump announced his decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. (UC is suing to stop the Trump administration from ending DACA.)

UC Berkeley’s Undocumented Student Program provides academic counseling, legal support and financial aid resources for its undocumented undergraduates. Iglesias will share more about the services that are provided to undocumented students.

  • Date: Monday, June 18
