Update: Office of the General Counsel’s Annual Thanksgiving Charity Fundraiser Bake Sale and Silent Auction

The dates and times for this event have changed — see updated information below.

It’s back! For the 33rd year, the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) will be holding its popular annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale and Silent Auction Charity Fundraiser — with a few changes.

Bake sale

Unlike in past years, there will be no preordering of baked goods like pies and rolls. Instead there will be a two-day sale of delicious sweet and savory home-baked treats:

  • Dates: Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 20 and 21
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Location: Franklin lobby

Silent auction

The silent auction returns, giving you the chance to bid on lunches with OP leadership, a special party opportunity, and a number of quality items suitable for holiday gift-giving, including: Fine wines and ports, Indian spices and teas, designer leather handbags, new clothing, pen and pencil sets.

The silent auction items will be displayed on the eighth floor of the Franklin building during the bake sale days and hours. All auction bids must be submitted by 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

How your donations help

All proceeds from these events benefit local Bay Area charities. This year we are donating to Oakland Elizabeth House, a transitional housing project that helps people get on their feet after surviving addiction, violence, and/or homelessness.
