UCOP office lighting satisfaction survey

In preparation for our new space and in support of UC’s Carbon Neutrality Initiative and Clean Energy Policy, UCOP is evaluating opportunities for simultaneously improving our employee working environment while reducing energy use and associated carbon emissions.  As part of this effort, we are investigating office lighting upgrades.

UCOP has partnered with the UC Davis California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC). CLTC conducts consumer preference experiments, market research and laboratory testing in an effort to develop new recommended practices and specifications for lighting products sold in California. The goal of CLTC’s research is to maximize lighting performance in LED products and promote user satisfaction.

The CLTC has developed a survey to help develop the best solution for UCOP in the new 1100 Broadway and retrofitted Franklin locations. We want to hear your opinion about the office and conference room lighting in all UC locations. This information will also be compared to a survey after we have been in the new space in 2020.

Please take 10 minutes to complete this survey by Friday, Dec. 7.

Thanks for your participation. Your answers will help support product selection for future lighting installations, and help UC reach our energy savings goals!
