Upcoming UCPath online & Connexxus outages

Two additional UCPath online outages are planned as UC Irvine, UC Irvine Health and UC Santa Cruz employees transition to the UCPath system. During this transition, booking travel through Connexxus will be temporarily impacted. Here’s what to expect.

UCPath online outages

Please mark your calendar for these important dates:

  • Thursday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. through Monday, Dec. 9 at 8 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. through Sunday, Dec. 22 at 8 a.m.

During this time, you will be unable to log into UCPath online to view or download your pay statements, W-2s, leave balances and other employment records. This temporary, scheduled outage will not impact pay processing or leave/service accrual.

If you have a question or need information during the outage, UCPath Center associates will be available by phone. Call (855) 982-7284 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Pacific Time for assistance.

Connexxus: Current UCOP employees

If you have not yet created a profile in Connexxus and will need to book travel during this outage, please create your profile before Dec. 5.

If you already have a profile, your ability to book travel should not be affected; however, if you are unable to book travel during the outages, please contact the travel agency of your choice directly:

  • BCD Travel: (877) 885-8632
  • UC Travel Center: (800) 235-8252
  • SWABIZ: (800) 435-9792)

Connexxus: New UCOP employees

New monthly employees hired after Dec. 5 and biweekly employees hired after Dec. 18 will not have a profile in Connexxus or with the program travel agencies until Dec. 23.

Booking travel without a profile: For travelers

For necessary business travel during the outage, newly hired employees and existing employees who do not create a travel profile prior to Dec. 5, must contact their department travel coordinator to book travel as a “guest traveler.”  Please provide your travel coordinator with the following personal information:

  • Name (as listed on your government-issued ID)
  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • PTA authorization code

Booking travel without a profile: For traveler coordinators

Authorized travel arrangers should use the following instructions for requesting direct-billed reservations for employees who do not have a profile in Connexxus.

UC Travel Center

Please call (310) 206-2639 or email travel@finance.ucla.edu, and a corporate agent will contact you during business hours.

BCD UC Travel Team

Please call (877) 885-8632, prompt 3, during normal business hours — Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (PT). BCD will e-mail a copy of the itinerary to the traveler and arranger.  Once the reservation is ticketed, any changes will incur airline change fees, and any additional ticketing service fees will apply.
