BSFO Juneteenth Celebration

Join the Black Staff and Faculty Organization in celebrating Juneteenth!

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. It was on June 19, 1865, when Union soldiers arrived at Galveston, Texas with news the Civil War had ended and that all slaves were free.

We will celebrate at UCOP with a potluck lunch and board games. Bring your favorite dish and game. (You don’t have to bring something to participate).
