Warm coat donation drive Nov. 8-18

Donate gently used or new coats by Friday, Nov. 18 by placing them in the large marked containers in the Franklin building lobby by the security desk. The coats will be given to guests at the annual City of Oakland Thanksgiving dinner for low income families, seniors and homeless citizens held on Nov. 22. All sizes are needed. Annual UCOP Craft Fair

This annual event features jewelry, scarves and other great gifts, many of which are handcrafted by UCOP staff. It’s a convenient way to shop for holiday gifts (or a little something for yourself!) while supporting your creative colleagues. OPSA Poinsettia Fundraising Pre-Sale

OP Staff Assembly is selling holiday poinsettias as a fundraiser to give scholarships to OP staff who wish to attend a class, workshop or conference for professional development and career advancement. Two-day sale of delicious baked goods, plus a silent auction and white elephant sale, all to benefit a local Oakland charity.
