DESCRIPTION:May 1 is College Signing Day — the day by which high school seniors are asked to commit to the college or university of their choice\, beginning their post-secondary education. \nCelebrate at UCOP: Wear your alma mater gear on May 1\nOn May 1\, take a moment to recognize your college or university experience and reflect upon what you learned during those impactful years. Wear a T-shirt\, sweatshirt or other gear from your alma mater to show your pride! \nA systemwide celebration\nUC is celebrating systemwide\, at all 10 undergraduate campuses. UCLA will host a special event with former first lady Michelle Obama’s nonprofit organization\, Better Make Room. This celebrity-studded event will feature Conan O’Brien\, Usher\, John Legend\, Eva Longoria and a variety of additional film\, television and music stars. \nWondering what all the hubbub is about? At UC\, it’s an opportunity to celebrate the efforts of the students who have worked for many years to achieve the education they have dreamed of; an opportunity to see their hard work come to fruition.
