SUMMARY:GROWing your Check-In Conversations for Employees
DESCRIPTION:In this session\, participants will discuss the framework and how to incorporate it into their checkpoints. Participants will have an opportunity to practice and get peer feedback on using the GROW coaching framework. GROWing your Check-in Conversations is two-hour virtual live workshop that provides employees with an opportunity to practice using the GROW in STEP check-ins and share tips and strategies for providing feedback. This is part of the three-year training plan designed by the Performance Appraisal workgroup made up of colleagues from across UCOP. \nThe framework breaks down the conversation into 4 parts: Goal\, Reality\, Options\, & Will:\n1. Determine Goal\n2. Discuss Current Reality\n3. Discuss Options\n4. Determine the Will . \nNote: The ecourse “GROWing your Checkpoint Conversations must be taken prior to this class.”
