The UCOP New Employee Orientation is designed to facilitate a smooth transition to the organization.\nTopics include University of California and our history\, Overview of UCOP and the organization\, Tools and Resources\, Safety\, Compliance \nAll UCOP employees are encouraged to attend a session as soon as possible following their date of hire. \nNote: Eligible employees must sign up for health insurance and disability benefits within their period of initial eligibility (PIE)\, which is thirty-one days from the date of eligibility for benefits\, regardless of when they attend the orientation session.
