An accomplished engineer\, Chancellor May served as dean of the Georgia Institute of Technology College of Engineering prior to joining UC. He is well known for his leadership in higher education and partnership with civic and business leaders.  In 2015\, President Barack Obama honored him with the Presidential Award for Excellence in STEM Mentoring — just one of his many accolades for academic excellence\, community leadership\, and commitment to expanding opportunities for students. \nHow to attend\nAdvance registration is required. This Wednesday\, June 3\, you’ll receive an Outlook invitation from UCOP Announcements\, which will contain a registration link.
