Our Lived Realities of Being Viewed As a Threat.” The book explores the impact of policing on African Americans and on communities of color\, through the lens of her family’s problematic experiences with law enforcement. Nickerson and her husband\, former NFL player and coach Hardy Nickerson\, are UC Berkeley alumni. DESCRIPTION:Come learn about the new UCOP Aspiring Leadership Development Program experiential professional development program offered to UCOP staff who are interested in exploring leadership roles and career development. The purpose is to provide UCOP employees opportunities to learn these leadership skills without having a formal leadership position.
