DESCRIPTION:The UC Retirement System (UCRS) Advisory Board develops ideas or new approaches to the provisions of UCRS benefits and communicates them to the president of the university. The UCRS Advisory Board discusses concerns relating to all members\, participants and their beneficiaries. \nThe UCRS Board generally meets three times a year in Oakland at the Office of the President. Meetings generally begin at 10 a.m. and last approximately four hours. It is the general practice of the Advisory Board to conduct its regular business meetings in open session. \nObservers who would like to attend the Advisory Board meetings may do so\, subject to seating capacity limitations. SUMMARY:Heartsaver CPR AED course
DESCRIPTION:The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver® training is a classroom\, instructor-led course in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using the automated external defibrillator (AED). \nThose who successfully complete this session will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver®  CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years. The classes are offered through OP’s Office of Risk Services. \nRegistration is open to those interested in becoming certified or in recertifying. SUMMARY:Heartsaver CPR AED course
DESCRIPTION:The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver® training is a classroom\, instructor-led course in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using the automated external defibrillator (AED). \nThose who successfully complete this session will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver®  CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years. The classes are offered through OP’s Office of Risk Services. \nRegistration is open to those interested in becoming certified or in recertifying. Every student will have hands-on skills practice with a mannequin and receive feedback from the instructor. \nEach session is limited to a maximum of 12 participants\, and sessions are expected to fill up\, so act quickly to reserve your spot or to be placed on the waiting list by registering through the UC Learning Center: \nLog in with your UCOP user name and password. \nSearch for the class title “CPR” or “AED.” \nClick REGISTER next to the class\, then SUBMIT. \nFor questions contact Shaudreya Waterman at 510-987-9827 or shaudreya.waterman@ucop.edu.

Business Writing Basics course.
