SUMMARY:UCOP volunteer event @ ASCEND Elementary School
DESCRIPTION:The Office of the President\, Professional Community (OPPC)\, in collaboration with the Asian and Pacific Islander Staff Association (APISA) and the Family Resource Network (FRN)\, is coordinating a back-to-school volunteer day at ASCEND Elementary School in Oakland. Volunteers will help set up furniture and school materials in eight brand-new classrooms. Limited to 20 volunteers. SUMMARY:Back-to-school supplies drive for ASCEND school
DESCRIPTION:Help out by buying and donating school supplies for students at Oakland’s ASCEND K-8 school. This drive is sponsored by the Asian Pacific Islander Staff Association (APISA)\, the OP Professional Community (OPPC) and the Family Resource Network (FRN). \nJust buy and bring in one or more of the school supplies from the list below. (New/unopened items only\, please.) Donation boxes will be set up in the Franklin building on all floors\, near the elevators and in the lobby. At the Kaiser building\, the donation box will be located on the 6th floor near the elevators. \nItems that are needed: \nPencils and pens\nColored pencils\nWhiteboard markers in all colors\nRegular markers (like Crayola)\nHighlighters\nCopy paper\nPost-It notes\n3×5 index cards\nStaplers and staples\nClear tape and dispensers\nTwo-pocket folders\nClear sheet protectors\nHand sanitizer\nKleenex\nClorox wipes\nBlue masking tape \n  \nQuestions?
