DESCRIPTION:The UC–CORO Systemwide Leadership Collaborative is offered to 45–50 senior staff and faculty/academic personnel administrators from UC locations who form a Northern California cohort and a Southern California cohort. The program develops leadership skills and awareness focusing on inter-UC and cross-functional involvement. This provides a direct opportunity to get a sense of the physical\, intellectual\, administrative and cultural nature of multiple UC locations. \nThe graduates will do a project presentation on Leadership Development Program for Faculty. DESCRIPTION:Open Enrollment begins on Oct. 26 this year. Attending an Open Enrollment Fair is your chance to meet with UC medical plan vendors including Anthem\, Health Equity\, Health Net Blue & Gold\, Kaiser\, UC Care and Western Health Advantage\, as well as Delta Dental and Vision Service Plan. \nOther UC benefit plans that will be represented at the Fair include ARAG (legal plan)\, WageWorks (formerly Conexis\, flexible spending accounts)\, Optum (behavioral health) and Fidelity Retirement Services\, as well as supplemental insurance providers California Casualty and Prudential. \nIn Oakland\, flu shots will be available free of charge (for employees only). The flu shots are sponsored by Kaiser Permanente\, but you don’t have to be a Kaiser member to participate.
