UCOP Season of Gratitude Celebration
Please join us for our annual year-end event for all Oakland-based staff. As in years past, this event is funded entirely from generous personal donations by UCOP leaders and managers, combining their funds for one larger all-staff appreciation event. Find out more »Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day
UCOP will host its fourth annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day sponsored through the Chief Operations Office in partnership with OP Staff Assembly. Children of OP staff are invited to accompany their parents to work that day to engage in a variety of entertaining and educational activities. The recommended age for participation is between 8 and 18 but children in kindergarten and first grade may participate under certain conditions. Registration will open the last week in January. During the 2018 End-of-Year Celebration, Oakland-based UCOP staff with mad kitchen skills can compete in a cooking contest by entering their masterpiece in one of the following categories: Cookies (bar or drop) Cakes or quick breads Pies Gluten-free sweets Vegan (savory or sweet) Savory sides or appetizers Slow-cooker or one-pot dishes Sign up to compete by Friday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. Winners will receive various prizes.
