Boost your skills with all-day classes in these powerful tools

Take your skills to the next level with upcoming intermediate-level classes in Microsoft Outlook and Word, as well as an introductory class in SharePoint, a Microsoft web application that allows you to manage and share content and documents.

All classes take place in 7107 Franklin, UCOP’s PC training room from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., as follows:

  • Outlook 2007 Intermediate, Thursday, Feb. 23: Outlook is the most widely used email client in the workplace. Through this class you improve your ability to manage mailboxes and calendars.
  • SharePoint Fundamentals, Thursday, March 1: SharePoint facilitates communication, teamwork and collaboration and provides easy access to discussion boards, calendars, shared documents and more.
  • Word 2007 Intermediate, Tuesday, March 6: Building on introductory skills, this class covers using styles and templates, creating and formatting tables, mail merge documents, graphics, working with document sections and managing document changes in work group collaborations.

Log in to the UC Learning Center with your UCOP username and password. Using the SEARCH box on the left, type in the name of the class and click on the UCOP session; click REGISTER next to the class title and SUBMIT.
