Calling all amateur bakers, chefs and foodies at UCOP: It’s time for a throwdown!

During the 2018 End-of-Year Celebration, Oakland-based UCOP staff with mad kitchen skills can compete in a cooking contest by entering their masterpiece in one of the following categories:

• Cookies (bar or drop)
• Cakes or quick breads
• Pies
• Gluten-free sweets
• Vegan (savory or sweet)
• Savory sides or appetizers
• Slow-cooker or one-pot dishes

Sign up to compete by Friday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. Winners will receive various prizes.
