Workshop: Tableau Desktop Intermediate/Advanced

This workshop will provide hands-on work with Tableau Desktop on advanced and intermediate topics with a special focus on calculations. It is not appropriate for first-timers. Some prior usage of Tableau is required.

Technical requirements for attendees:

1. Attendees should have Tableau Desktop installed any version after 10.0.
2. The 14-day trial version can be downloaded here, and the class instructor can extend your trial by 30 days if needed.
3. To install: You will need to open a ServiceNow ticket to get “temporary admin rights” so you can install the software:
   • Go to ServiceNow. Click on “Get Help” –> “Submit Other Requests”
   • Copy/paste the following for Subject: “I need temporary admin rights to install Tableau for class”
   • Copy/paste for Description: “For L&D class, I need to have Tableau software installed.”
