Computer Asset Management Program kicks in this month

As announced by EVP Nathan Brostrom, the first phase of the Technology Asset Management Program began last week.
As of July 1, there will be a new process for requesting computers for new personnel: To request a computer for a new hire, complete and submit the UCOP IT Services Form, which now includes a field for selecting a standard PC computer. The request should be submitted at least five business days in advance of the new hire’s start date.
For existing personnel, the computer refresh program begins August 1.
The Laptop Loan Program also began on July 1, which enables UCOP personnel to request a loaner laptop for occasional business needs.
