Driving safety webinar: make better driving decisions

Have you ever needed to slam on your brakes or make an evasive maneuver while driving because of your actions or the actions of others? If your answer is yes, decision making or complacency may have been a factor. Many of us have been driving accident free for years, so it’s easy to become complacent.

You are invited to join an informative one-hour driver safety webinar, Driving Safety: Making Better Driving Decisions and Reducing Complacency, presented by Bickmore Risk Services, 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Register online and note that space is limited.

Just like many other tasks that we do on a regular basis, we often take driving for granted. When that happens, you become complacent, which places yourself and others at risk. For example, did you know a typical driver will make about 100 decisions for each mile driven? It’s important to understand that each one of those decisions has consequences.

The session provides valuable information that will enable you to make better driving decisions and reduce your risk of becoming a complacent driver. The topics covered include the driver, vehicle, road and weather.

The webinar is sponsored by UCOP Risk Services.
