Final class in performance appraisals Aug. 22

If you are a UCOP manager or supervisor and you have not already taken the class in Conducting Performance Appraisals, you have one more opportunity on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in 12322 Franklin.
The class, which is strongly encouraged for anyone at UCOP in a managerial or supervisorial role, provides tools for maximizing the performance appraisal process. You will learn to clearly communicate about past performance, assess job satisfaction and make plans for future performance and development.
To register, go to the UCOP Learning Center:
- Log in using your UCOP login and password.
- Using the Search box on the left, type in the name of the class you want; that will bring up Results of Search.
- Click the session you want, then click on the Register box and Submit.
If you are an employee and missed the workshops on Employee Role in Performance Appraisals that were offered in July, go to the performance management website to find other materials, including an online worksheet to help you write your self-assessment and keep a performance log.
