Take this class to make your meetings more productive

Many of us spend a large percentage of our workday in meetings. In order to get the most out of that time, meeting leaders need to effectively manage both information and interactions among meeting participants and/or team members.

UCOP Human Resources Office of Learning and Development is now offering a new class that will help you do just that. Entitled Tips for More Effective Meetings, the class will be held Wednesday, Aug. 31, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in 12322 Franklin, and will be facilitated by Elaine Schilling.

This session offers tips for:

  • Preparing for an effective meeting
  • Keeping meetings focused and on track
  • Encouraging balanced participation
  • Creating effective action plans

If you are interested in the class, simply show up at the classroom, 12322 Franklin, at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow. What could be easier! (The UC Learning Center will not allow you to register for any class that starts within the next 24 hours.)
