Final Career Tracks information sessions held today

The two final 90-minute information sessions for all employees on Career Tracks, UCOP’s new program to clarify job classifications and facilitate career paths, will wrap up today, Tuesday, Aug. 28.

If you haven’t heard about it yet, Career Tracks is the new market-based system for all MSP and policy-covered PSS employees that will replace UCOP’s outdated job classification framework. The goal is to group jobs into more clearly defined families that better align with comparable jobs in the labor market as well as jobs on UC campuses.

Space is still available in these two information sessions:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 28: 1 to 2:30 pm via ReadyTalk webinar
  • Tuesday, Aug. 28: 2:30 to 4 pm in Franklin Lobby 1 Conference Room

Managers and supervisors who were unable to attend the management workshops in July are also welcome to register for today’s sessions through the UC Learning Center; enter “Career Tracks” into the search field to find your preferred session. To access the ReadyTalk session, log in at https://ucop.ilinc.com/join/rbtyryc and dial 866-740-1260; then enter passcode 9870946#.

At this time, Career Tracks is being implemented for policy-covered, or non-represented, positions only, although any employee is welcome to attend the information sessions.
