Women We Admire series: UCOP Chief Risk Officer Cheryl Lloyd speaks Feb. 10
Bring your lunch and join UCOP Chief Risk Officer Cheryl Lloyd for the next talk in the Women We Admire series on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

As chief risk officer for UCOP, Lloyd has overall responsibility for the university’s many risk services programs. Major initiatives include strategically managing risk to create greater financial stability and to help UC achieve its mission, reducing the overall cost of risk, implementing systemwide and local safety programs, developing risk financing strategies and more.
Lloyd is a UC alumna, with a degree in mass communications from UC Berkeley.
She began her career in the insurance and risk industry with Chubb Insurance. She was the corporate risk manager at Core-Mark International, before joining UC in 1998.
While at UCOP, she served as director of Liability and Property Programs in the Office of Risk Services, before her appointment as acting chief risk officer.
