Don’t forget: Staff Appreciation lunch is today

The ever-popular Staff Appreciation event — Taco Tuesday — is back! Don’t miss the food and fun on the Franklin fifth-floor patio today from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tortilleria El Molino of Concord, whose tacos have garnered rave reviews in past years, will return to UCOP with meat and vegetarian tacos and all the accompaniments. Drinks and desserts — churros and Italian ice — will also be served.
This is also a good chance to acquaint yourself with UCOP’s many affinity groups, which will be on hand to share information. Be sure to pick up a raffle ticket at the event! Have it stamped at each table, fill in your name and phone number and drop it into the box for a chance to win gift cards and other prizes.
In response to input from staff, the UCOP Talent Show and Community Day, which have taken place the same week as Taco Tuesday in the past, are now planned for the coming months. Stay tuned for details from the events team!
