UCOP staff stepped up last week and donated a total of $3,808 to the Alameda County Food Bank in the food drive sponsored by UC Agriculture and Natural Resources and OP Staff Assembly. The money will enable the food bank to purchase nearly $23,000 worth of fresh fruits, vegetables and other healthy food items for the 49,000 local families it serves each week.

Winner of the $100 farmers market basket is Franklin 10^th floor, which collected $888. Runners-up in the competition were the 20th Street building, which raised $673, and Franklin 5th floor, with $570.
