Getting to Know: UCOP’s Event Services Group (ESG)

The “Getting to Know You” series is back! If you want to learn more about the different departments at UCOP, join us at these brown bags. The first to be highlighted is the Events Services Group (ESG).

Snacks and beverages will be provided, but feel free to bring your lunch.

ESG was established in 2010 and has grown exponentially over the last six years.  Most employees see the ESG at OP social events, but did you know they support over 200 events a year and three-quarters of them are held outside of an OP building?

At this session, you will learn how ESG can support your department’s next meeting or conference, what the group’s services do and do not entail, and what the nominal cost is to receive their support.  Even if you already use ESG’s services, this session will provide a broader understanding of how the team functions and will also give you an opportunity to meet other planners on the team you may not have previously worked with.
