Thursday: How UC Scout is preparing the next generation of UC students

Join Executive Director Lynda Rogers on Thursday, March 29, to learn about the recent expansion of UC Scout, UC’s online learning program that provides California high school students with free access to the courses they need to be eligible and competitive for admission into college.

UC announced last month a major expansion of UC Scout. The program now offers 65 online classes, including each of those required to fulfill the “a-g” requirements for admission to UC and California State University, as well as 26 Advanced Placement classes. With $4 million in state funding from the governor’s 2016—17 budget, the program added and improved dozens of free online courses, from world history and law to engineering and 3-D design.
