On March 4, from 2-3 p.m., UC Riverside Black Faculty and Staff Association invite UCOP colleagues to join them for a special event — To Boldly Go: Being Black in Higher Education — featuring Michael Brown, Ph.D., provost and executive vice president for Academic Affairs.

Provost Brown will speak about his experiences of being Black within higher education, and will answer pre-submitted audience questions (sent via the registration form). Jennifer Brown, vice provost and dean of undergraduate education, UC Riverside, will moderate the event. UC Riverside Chancellor Kim A. Wilcox will offer a welcome address.
