Oakland and UCPath colleagues: Share your appreciation with Gratitude Grams

The UCOP Community and Connection Committee (C&C) invites UCOP staff in Oakland and Riverside to participate in a Valentine’s Day-themed Gratitude Gram activity on Feb. 6 and 7. Show your colleagues some love and support this February by writing them a personalized postcard with a message of appreciation! The Gratitude Grams will feature beautiful photography from several UC campus locations.

Oakland employees

  • The Gratitude Gram table will be located in the Franklin lobby (near the entrance to High XII Café) on Tuesday, Feb. 6, and Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 9 – 10 a.m. and 12 – 2 p.m. We will provide writing instruments and a variety of postcards.
  • You can either write a message at the table, which will be delivered via our colleagues in mailroom, or pick up a postcard to hand-deliver yourself.
  • Stamps will be available for sending postcards to remote colleagues and those working at other UCOP locations.

UCPath employees

Jessica Mazariegos, Martha Noce, Jessica Hankins and Maria Martinez will have Gratitude Grams available. Please contact them to request yours.

Coming soon — virtual Gratitude Grams

UCOP previously offered virtual Gratitude Grams, which allowed staff to send digital cards year-round. We are working to revive a digital option and will share details once it is available.

Sharing positivity with others can help establish deeper social ties, which is especially important in our hybrid-style setting. Make sure to stop by the Gratitude Gram table on upcoming anchor days to share your warmth and appreciation with your colleagues!
