OPSA 3Practice Circles Listening Session postponed

Past APISA Chair Tony Yang and Ombudsperson Callale Concon

Past APISA Chair Tony Yang and Ombudsperson Callale Concon will lead a 3Practice Circles Listening Session for UCOP staff.

The OP Staff Assembly (OPSA) 3Practice Circles Listening Session previously scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, has been postponed until January 2026.

A 3Practice Circles Listening Session is an inclusive space where UCOP employees come together to listen, share and connect as a community, engaging in conversation within 3 practices:

  1. Listen with your whole self
  2. Be curious and ask questions
  3. Share from your own experience

A 3Practice Circles session is not a problem-solving or decision-making forum. It’s an opportunity to reflect on shared experiences and strengthen understanding and community across UCOP.  It is a safe space for clarity and understanding — with no obligation to agree — and a place to exercise your listening and communication skills while practicing empathy and learning more about each other. We do not judge others or measure their experiences in relation to our own.

Participants will be invited to reflect on a guiding question during the session: “What helps you feel balanced and engaged in your work, and what makes it more challenging?”

Ombudsperson Callale Concon and past APISA Chair Tony Yang will facilitate.

Event information will be available in Link once the new schedule has been finalized.
