African American Studies Photo Experience

Join the Black Staff and Faculty Organization for a special Black History Month event featuring Leigh Raiford, Ph.D., professor of African American Studies at UC Berkeley and the inaugural director of the Black Studies Collaboratory, a three-year project funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Dr. Raiford will discuss her research on race, gender, justice and visuality, including her findings on the connections between photography and the African-American experience.
